Spiritual Journey and Interdisciplinary Approach

Driven by a profound passion for discovering the truth, I undertook a challenging spiritual journey that allowed me to explore a wide range of religious and spiritual practices. This journey involved the study and practice of various philosophies, including Vedantic philosophy and Buddhism. I dedicated significant time to a thorough examination of foundational texts such as the principal Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita, and I delved deeply into the Prakarana Granthas composed by Adi Sankaracharya. Through these studies, I came to embrace the concept of Non-duality as a central tenet of my personal belief system. I have been greatly inspired by Swami Vivekananda and his complete works, which have further reinforced my inclination towards Jnana Yoga, or the path of knowledge. This path brings me inner peace and enables me to live a life of joy.

My spiritual quest took me through many spiritual traditions in South India, as well as journeys to the Himalayas in the North. As part of my engagement with spiritual communities, I conducted a series of twelve talk sessions focused on Patanjali’s Yogasutras, covering each sutra in detail. Patanjali’s Yogasutras remains my favourite spiritual text. I derive immense happiness from conducting spiritual discourses, and I have had the opportunity to present on Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and Karma Yoga—the three paths to salvation as described in Indian philosophy.

At different points in my life, I contemplated the monastic path and even began the process of enrolling with the Chinmaya Mission. However, the  Universe  took me in a different direction, providing me with greater clarity regarding my purpose. My spiritual practices took me to the ashram of Mata Amritananda Mayi started in 2002, which further enriched my spiritual experience.

Simultaneously, I pursued my professional career in pharmacy at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. It was there that I discovered my passion for research and developed the vision of establishing my own research organisation—one that would embrace diverse research ideas. My life journey has shown me the interconnectedness of all things, revealing that our energies inevitably overlap. This realisation has led me to value an interdisciplinary approach, which I believe is the path closest to the truth.

Personal Life

    ~ Rajeswary ~

I'm a single parent of three energetic boys, and I began my journey in New Zealand in 2015. Raising young children alone was challenging, but I persevered and now we are settled. My kids are responsible and supportive, and together we enjoy travelling, exploring new places, watching movies, hiking, and bowling.
