Inspiration for Establishing a Training Organisation

New Zealand has faced a long-standing shortage of pharmacists, creating challenges in both routine and specialised roles.
Another factor influencing my direction was the persistent shortage of pharmacists in New Zealand, noticed from the moment I arrived a decade ago.
Throughout my experience, there were not enough pharmacists available, especially for roles beyond routine pharmacy work.
This ongoing shortage highlighted the need for innovative solutions.
It reinforced my commitment to making a tangible difference in the profession.
My attachment to New Zealand is deeply personal, shaped by the support I received from the community during a challenging period in my life. The kindness and encouragement shown to me during those years left a lasting impression. Currently, New Zealand faces a severe shortage of staff, with pharmacies closing as a result. This situation has inspired me to consider how I might give back to the country that supported me so profoundly by contributing to solutions that address these workforce challenges.
